Preparing for an eight-day sailing expedition with circumnavigator John Neal to the Hebrides, we arrived early and soaked up the natural beauty of the spectacular Orkney Islands.

We love the pleasures of land, but are excited to start sailing tomorrow. John says the weather is “dynamic” and the sailing will be “vigorous.”   That’s what we were hoping for here at 58 degrees N latitude. The winds and weather have delivered a challenging course for our training! All aboard mates!⚓️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛵️👍🥰
