Sad to leave the Hamble River, we are nonetheless very excited to sail east tomorrow to Newhaven if there is room in the marina, or the larger harbour at Eastbourne if necessary. We will go to bed early and launch at high tide at 0600, keeping the strong currents at our stern and the shallows deep below.
